Word Game Hero draws from and is inspired by a number of other games. Here are the most relevant.
Wordle is the daily puzzle guessing game online made by Josh Wardle.
This is the infinite word guessing game by the talented Katherine Peterson.

As per a trademark claim from one of the games previously mentioned here it is no longer listed. That can be an exercise for the viewer to puzzle out instead.
Broader inspirations and formats
I would also like to give a shout out to Jotto, Mastermind, Bulls and Cows and more! The puzzle format has a long and storied history and I am enjoying making my own interpretation of the genre.
